PROGRAM COMPONENTS
•  First Week (Sunday through Shabbat): Foundations & Orientation (3 credits)
•  four core-curriculum courses per semester (24 credits total)
•  morning seder (6 credits total)
•  total college credits: 33
•  paid internships (four hours per week, one internship per semester) at leading institutions in Jerusalem
•  scheduled one-on-one weekly meetings with the Institute Director
•  instructors hold weekly office hours plus scheduled one-on-one meetings with students throughout the semester
•  monthly co-curricular Shabbaton including an Astronomical Melaveh Malkah
•  two overnight tiyulim: one to the Negev and one to the Golan
•  Friday mornings:  volunteering and service
•  Second Semester:  monthly co-curricular Public Conversations series
•  Second Semester:  co-curricular electives
          -- assist faculty with coordinating the Public Conversations series
          -- develop and execute a student-led service project with students (including Israelis) from other institutions/programs
          -- Ulpan La-Inyan (discounted tuition)
•  frequent guest speakers and field encounters with policymakers and public officials, rabbis and legal authorities, scholars and scientists, activists, archaeologists, artisans and business owners, and other thinkers and practitioners who are active in our areas of interest
